The idea behind Wonderland Knits came about when I started knitting again after college, 9 years ago.  My mother started borrowing some of the scarves I was making and wearing them to work.  When she would wear them she would get compliments from her coworkers and some of them asked her where she got them from.  She told them I made them, and they asked if I could make some for them.  And that's how it all started.  I began making scarves and in all colors and lengths, and I began selling them to family and friends.  It has been something I have just done over the past 4 years during the winter season to make some extra money.

After my mother died 4 years ago, I decided I wanted to take her suggestion of making my knitting a legitimate business and make it a reality.  I have been prepping for the winter season as well figuring out what else I could make that might be useful to people all year round.  I enjoy knitting things that I would use or wear myself.  I love all colors both bright and dark so you will see that there are an assortment of colors.  If you are looking quality scarves and other knitted accessories then Wonderland Knits is the place for you.  The yarn I use ranges from heavy to light.  I use it to make scarves, afghans, baby blankets and soon hats and head bands.  They are simple designs and patterns, but they will keep you warm whether you are outside wearing a scarf in the dead of winter, or you are in your house curled up on the couch with an afghan.

I am currently operating out of Rockville, MD.  I can be contacted through the Wonderland Knits page on Facebook, @Wonderlandknitsllc on Instagram or via email at Wonderlandknitsllc@gmail.com.  On the Facebook page you will find photos of items I am currently working on, are available for purchase as well as pieces I have completed in the past.  You can buy via Facebook or the webiste.  If you would like to buy something that is custom or out of stock you can message or email me, and I can make it and have it shipped to you within 7-10 business days.
